Road Trip Wednesday is a ‘Blog Carnival,’ where YA Highway's contributors post a weekly writing- or reading-related question that begs to be answered. In the comments, you can hop from destination to destination and get everybody's unique take on the topic.
Topic of the Week: Where do you buy your books?
I used to buy my books at Border's. It was right up the road from my house, so I was extremely upset when they closed. However, there is a bookstore right down the road from my parent's house called Best Bargain Books. In the summer my mom and I usually walk there. The best part: they let us bring Frank (my dog) in. They have a combination of used books and new books and you can always find a great deal. My only complaint is their YA section is very small.
Barnes and Nobles is my other go to store. It's convenient. Though, I always check Best Bargain Books first if I have a specific book in mind since they tend to be three to five dollars cheaper.
Other places I buy books:
Costco
Walmart
Amazon
Ebay (I'm on a tight budget and you can buy in bulk. I got all the books in the Harry Potter series, hardcovers, for $20 bucks total.)
My Mom (I don't have to pay for those though)
